# The launcher will not install even when I run the installation file

If the launcher installation fails, please check the following in order.

1. Make sure your PC has enough storage space.
2. Temporarily disable your antivirus program and try the installation again.
3. If you change the installation path of the GPG/Epic Netmarble Launcher, please install it in a folder that does not require administrator privileges (e.g., under your user folder).
4. Installation may fail if the downloaded installation file is corrupted. Please refer to the \[[Invalid download file alert](/faq-en/launcher-download/3.md)] article.
5. If a previously installed launcher remains on your PC, remove 'Netmarble Launcher (GPG: \_GPGS, EPIC: \_EPIC)' from Windows Settings > Apps > Installed apps, then install again.
