# Installation fails and repeats after the 'Required update' notice

* If the 'Unhandled Promise Rejection' pop-up appeared while setting up Remote, please refer to the \[[Error when turning Remote ON](/faq-en/remote/5.md)] article.

This issue can occur when duplicate installations of the Netmarble Launcher on your PC cause a configuration conflict. Please refer to the details below to resolve the issue.

1. In Windows Settings > Apps > Installed apps, search for 'Netmarble Launcher (GPG: \_GPGS, EPIC: \_EPIC)'.
2. Remove all items found.
3. Restart your PC, then reinstall the launcher via the game's official website or Google Play Games/Epic Games Store.

* If the 'Unhandled Promise Rejection' pop-up appears during installation, the same method can resolve it.
* In some cases, simply restarting the PC resolved the issue. You may try restarting first before following the steps above.
